Come take a look at this transformation on a Chimney we did in Ashford!! We disassembled this chimney to access this flue. Look at this build up! Once new flue was installed we rebuilt the chimney with cap & waterproofing. Can you believe how much residue there is? Actually this is pretty common. When the smoke doesn’t fully escape , over time a tar like substance called creosote will begin to build up that can be harmful to your respiratory or skin.
