Take a look at how slow leaks and excess moisture can completely destroy your home. In this case there was leaking from multiple areas; one of them being the shower casing leaking through the seams and while also damaging side wall. Another leak was also coming from the showe drain that seeped in the floor boards beneath. Unfortunately there was even more leakage also coming from the stink pipe that completely destroyed areas of the beam running across the home. As a home owner we understand this is frustrating and may be over whelming but here at #BrighterDay we are here to take those problems away!! We effectively demolished the previous shower, wall, & ceiling to gain access to root of the water damage. We reconstructed the frame for shower and walls while also reinforcing the shower floor / beams underneath. While doing that we had to relocate the hot & cold water pipes ( as long as the drain ) to fit new shower dimensions. We also installed a sister beam to regain back structural support in the cieling. Once everything was structurally sound we installed a new fiber glass shower unit with oversized dual moen shower heads. We also installed shower doors and a new exhaust fan to allow proper air flow to prevent moisture and any unwanted water leaking. Since this being a bathroom we used a mold & mildew resistant primer & paint while also installing a waterproof trafford oak floating floor! What a absolute beautiful turn out!!
